Chateau Haut-Bages Liberal (奥巴里奇城堡)是法国Bordeaux (波尔多)产区 Pauillac (波雅克村)的酒庄之一，1855年被评为五级酒庄。 同时是Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux（波尔多特级酒庄联合会，简称 UGCB）的成员之一。
Chateau Haut-Bages Libéral位于 Medoc 产区的Bages Plateau (巴斯高地)上，非常靠近这里最高的地方，站在酒庄里可以俯瞰到 Gironde (吉伦特河)。Libéral (利博利)家族于18世纪在这里建立了自己的家园，并用自己家族的名字命名了酒庄。该家族在波尔多不仅拥有自己的酒庄，同时也是十分有地位的葡萄酒商，在家族历代成员的经营下，Chateau Haut-Bages Liberal 于1855年成功入选五级庄之列。
1960年，Cruse 家族入主Chateau Haut-Bages Liberal，翻新了酒庄的葡萄园。该家族也是一个实力雄厚的葡萄酒世家，当时还是 Chateau Pontet-Canet（庞特卡奈古堡）的拥有者。1982年，Taillan 集团购下奥巴里奇城堡，该集团旗下拥有众多波尔多酒庄以及酒商公司，无论是酿酒经验还是市场经验都极为丰富，在该集团的管理下，Chateau Haut-Bages Liberal焕发出一派新面貌。目前，酒庄的庄主为Taillan 集团创始人Jacques Merlaut 的孙女—— Claire Villars-Lurton ，Villars 的丈夫则是波尔多实力酿酒家族 Lurton 家族的 Gonzargue Lurton ，Lurton 家族掌管着波尔多数个列级庄，酿酒历史悠久，出产的葡萄酒品质极佳。此外，Gonzargue 也是二级庄Chateau Durfort-Vivens（杜霍酒庄）的庄主。
Chateau Haut-Bages Liberal的葡萄园毗邻 Chateau Latour（拉图城堡）和 Chateau Pichon-Longueville Baron（碧尚男爵酒庄），享有温和且湿润的海洋性气候。葡萄园面积为30公顷，主要被分成了两大块，其中一块覆盖着深层砾石土壤，另一块则富含白垩质黏土-石灰岩土壤，这种土壤类型为酒款带来力量感和矿物质风味。葡萄园内种植了70%的赤霞珠（Cabernet Sauvignon）和30%的梅洛（Merlot），平均树龄为35年，种植密度为 10,000株 /公顷。奥巴里奇城堡的团队是有机种植的忠实践行者。他们一直在种植葡萄树和保护环境之间寻求平衡，为获得有机种植与生物动力法认证而努力。
为了获取成熟度最佳的葡萄，酒庄会密切监控葡萄的状态，葡萄成熟时通过人工进行细致采摘。采收后的葡萄经过精挑细选会进入发酵环节。奥巴里奇的酿造车间配备了16个混凝土罐和16个不锈钢罐，这些温控发酵罐体积不一，可供地块、品种、树龄以及采收时间不同的葡萄分开发酵，发酵时间一般持续18-24天。发酵完成后，酒液会在法国橡木桶中陈酿16-18个月，其中正牌酒的新桶比例为50%，酒窖采用自动恒温、恒湿系统，温度控制在15-16摄氏度之间，湿度是在80%左右。装瓶前酒庄还会用蛋清来澄清酒液。此外，奥巴里奇城堡邀请了全球极具影响力的酿酒师 Eric Boissenot 担任酒庄的酿酒顾问。在他的指导下，Chateau Haut-Bages Liberal 的葡萄酒品质节节攀升。

The nose is fresh, crisp and exalted aromas of small black berries. A few notes of spices and tobacco distributed in the bouquet a certain elegance. In the mouth, the attack is full and ample. The wine is precise, with firm tannins and well-proportioned acidity. The style is both gourmet and classic. The finish is long and voluminous.

The nose offers expressions of ripe black fruits; as well as a slightly acidic freshness. On the palate, the attack is frank and subtle. The structure is supple with rather present tannins. The wine is ample and offers a nice volume in the finish.
